應該是對英文閱讀上的偏差.. 原文是:
The frames are assembled by means of a process of welding in an oxygen-free environment inside a hyperbaric chamber filled with argon gas in order to control the atmosphere. Afterwards the welds are filed by hand with absolute precision.
並沒說真空,是說是無氧的高壓腔,而高壓腔是用氬氣來確保腔內的環境.. 小弟的解讀是為了保證焊接的純淨,用高壓的氬來排除其他氣體(尤其是氧)的污染...
