大家好, 小弟是香港區的, 由於兩岸三地自行車術語不盡相同, 請見諒.

改裝方法不太難, 請大家去Google一下weight weenies有關的文章.

有一點要注意的是, 為安全起見, 小弟選擇使用整套的7970, 飛輪也沒選XTR.

一來Dura Ace的部品比XTR便宜許多, 二來小弟已放棄XC, 只是不想轉公路車.

I would be very interested in see how you would accomplish this. I did this project on a Santa Cruz Tallboy earlier this year. However I used the Ki2 kit from K-Edge

The kit is hassle free complete bolt on with no modifications necessary. Comes with a modded rear derailleur and custom made shifters. The outcome was very good, smooth, precise shifting.

How will you mod the shifters? Will you machine your own?

To hugachuga,

What a eye catcher with color-matched Ki2 kit.

Ki2 is trouble-free but it is very expensive comparing to DIY, that' s the way I choose.

BTW, I think the signal wire of RD is little bit short / too sharp the angle.

Yes, the RD cable looks short, but no choice but luckily it worked. There is no other way to wire this on a Large 29er frame, I am glad it was ok, otherwise so much trouble to mod it or send it back.

True it is more expensive, but just easier. How will you mount the Sprinter Shifters?

現時Di2只供road bike用, 要經過改裝才可以给MTB使用.

動剪真的要好大勇氣 : 光是圖中的線就索價超過二佰......英磅.

下次DIY用微型開關, 可省下佰伍鎊.
