廣州大學城內的廣州自行車滑輪極限運動中心,是這次亞運新建場館,斥資人民幣4億(約新台幣20億元)打造,做為亞運自由車及滑輪溜冰競賽場地
自由車場地跑道長度共分250公尺和333.33公尺兩種,其中250公尺已是世界潮流,但台灣訓練場地卻是333.33公尺,直道較長,彎道較少,對選手來說,感覺完全不同

看到政府的這個「設施活化與地區再生」的提案,剛好民國104年高雄市承辦全國運動會,為了能與世界各國競逐急需250公尺的場地,且又能將設施活化及地區再生,並解決五甲社區的停車問題以及老舊場館年久失修,減少治安死角及讓鳳山區能有一座多功能的運動場館,解決多年無解的問題,再造市民生活空間新環境,希望能用"鳳山自由車競技場"作為~"標的".
符合競賽標的原則:
1.必須為低度利用公有(含中央、地方政府、公營事業)設施。
2.為「特定類型」(學校)之公有設施群;
或具一定規模(基地面積大於1,000㎡或建築樓地板面積大於2,000㎡)之單一公有設施。
3.應符合以公有設施帶動地區活化再生此一主題精神。
執行方式
在第一階段的提案徵選的部分,需要由願意用"鳳山自由車競技場"作為~"標的".學校系所,結合在地社區民眾的建議,擬定內容及企劃書,依據其內容、創意與後續公共參與推動策略,評選出三組優勝團隊。
第二階段:公共參與推動
獲選三組優勝團隊,本會將提供獎金支持後續公共參與計畫執行,促使其提案構想進一步引發公眾討論關注。

場地賽
場地賽曾經風行一時,也是自由車運動的競賽項目之一。賽車場分為室內和室外兩種,呈橢圓形,跟田徑的跑道相似,不同的是在轉彎處做了30至50° 的坡度,方便選手轉彎,以克服離心力,避免全速騎行的車手甩向外側。室內多為木質跑道,室外多為瀝青或水泥跑道,亦有用不怕水的非洲硬木質跑道,由於造價較高,比較少見,但新建造的比賽場,如舉辦奧運會場地,大多為木質跑道。國內只有台中縣自由車場為木質跑道。場地跑道規定周長為250公尺,285.714公尺,333.33或400公尺。

A New 250M Velodrome Opened at C.C.C. Shuzenji

On 29thSeptember, 2011, C.C.C. Shuzenji opened its new and state of art modern 250 meter Velodrome which was the 1st doomed 250 meter wooden Velodrome in Japan after 1 and half years’ struggle for its construction.
The opening ceremony was held at 12:00 hrs on 29th September with many cycling families in Japan attended. Among them were Mr. Yutaka Hirayanagi, President of Juridical Foundation Cycle Sports Center,Mr. Choi, Boo Woong, Secretary General of ACC, Mr. Magne, Director of WCC, Mr. Tadao Tomihara, President of JCF, and Mr. Masao Yajima, Suprintendent of CCC Shuzenji. Mayor of Izu City and President of Japan Professional Keirin Association were also among those celebrities.
The Velodrome will be widely used for CCC Shuzenji’s Training Camp projects and training track cyclists from Japan. However, it will be open to the public on 1st October, and Japan national cycling championships was also scheduled for 14th October.

29thSeptember,2011年,C.C.C.修善寺開設新的現代藝術250米自行車館,這是第一注定了在日本的250米的木質自行車館和後 1年半的建設的鬥爭和國家。
許多騎自行車在日本的家庭參加了開幕式舉行9月29日12:00小時。其中,法人基金會週期體育中心,先生主席先生裕Hirayanagi蔡雄,行政協調會秘書長,BOO,馬格納先生,基督教協進會,JCF總統先生忠雄Tomihara主任,CCC認證修善寺Suprintendent矢島正雄,先生。伊豆市的市長和日本專業凱林賽協會主席,也是那些名人。
In the year 2003 the former semi covered cycle track of Alkmaar was transformed into a sports palace. The originally concrete track was replaced by a wooden track and the roof became totally covered. The inside area of the track can be used for all kinds of indoor sports and events like concerts or exhibitions. After the completion of the renovation the sports palace is home for the national track cycling team of the Netherlands including the world champions Theo Bos and Teun Mulder.

老山自行車館共3層,大廳包括二層和三層。
二層主要是賽道區和內場休息區,
三層東西兩側為觀眾看台。
此處於奧運期間進行自行車賽事中的12個室內賽小項,其後的殘疾奧運會中,自行車館再次用作比賽之用。
工程設計工作由廣東省建築設計研究院與中國航太建築設計研究院共同完成的自行車館位於北京的石景山區,在2005年10月30日正式開始動工,是北京奧運中第四個新建的比賽場館,總建築面積為32920平方米,賽道周長250米,觀眾席合共9000個。
當中自行車館的賽道是由德國舒曼設計師事務所設計,並由中國新興建設開發總公司負責施工部份。

London 2012 Velodrome unveiled
British cyclists including Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton and Jason Kenny took to the track in the London 2012 Velodrome for the first time today as the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) unveiled the first Olympic Park venue to finish construction, on time and to budget.
The 6,000 seat Velodrome will host the Olympic and Paralympic track cycling events in 2012. After the Games, the Velodrome will be used by elite athletes and the local community and will include a café, bike hire and cycle workshop facilities. The ODA started work on the Velodrome in March 2009 with construction now completed and the first Olympic Park venue in place nearly 18 months before the start of the Games.
Selected riders from the Great Britain Cycling Team tried out the Velodrome for the first time today including Beijing Games medal winners Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton, Jason Kenny and Ross Edgar, together with rising stars and established names in the GB cycling team. The cyclists were joined in unveiling the Velodrome by ODA Chairman John Armitt, Seb Coe Chair of the London Organising Committee (LOCOG), Secretary of State Jeremy Hunt, Mayor of London Boris Johnson and other guests.
Sir Chris Hoy, triple Gold medal-winner at the Beijing Games and the most successful Olympic male cyclist of all time, said: “Having been involved in a very small way in the design process in the early stages, it’s amazing to see the Velodrome finally completed, and to be able to have ridden on it today gives me a feel for what it’s going to be like in a year and a half’s time. I can’t wait!”
The Mayor of London Boris Johnson said: “This magnificent venue is a triumph for all those involved in its design and construction. Already an icon for the London Games, with its sweeping roof and sleek ribbon of track, the Velodrome is poised for our world-beating cycling team to smash records in the summer of 2012 and inspire a new generation of racers to take to the saddle. There is no doubt that the Velodrome will be the venue of choice after the Games, both by the community and for major international competitions for years to come, helping to make London the cycling capital of the world.”

■The 6,000 seats are split into a lower and upper tier, allowing a 360 degrees concourse level in between with a continuous ribbon of full height windows
Construction:
■The Velodrome was constructed over a period of 23 months with up to 450 workers on site at the peak of construction and 2,500 workers involved through the course of the project
■Some 48,000 cubic metres of material was excavated to create the bowl for the Velodrome, enough to fill 19 Olympic-sized swimming pools
Velodrome track:
■The Velodrome has been designed with the aim of creating the world’s fastest cycling track by tailoring the track geometry and setting the temperature and environmental conditions within the venue to create record-breaking conditions
■The venue has also been being designed with seating all the way round the track to create the best possible crowd atmosphere during events.
Sustainability elements:
■The building has been designed to be lightweight and efficient to reflect the efficient design of a bicycle
■The use of abundant daylight through strategically positioned rooflights reduces need for artificial lighting, and natural ventilation is achieved through openings in the external timber cladding of the venue

符合競賽標的原則:
1.必須為低度利用公有(含中央、地方政府、公營事業)設施。
2.為「特定類型」(學校)之公有設施群;
或具一定規模(基地面積大於1,000㎡或建築樓地板面積大於2,000㎡)之單一公有設施。
3.應符合以公有設施帶動地區活化再生此一主題精神。
執行方式
在第一階段的提案徵選的部分,需要由願意用"鳳山自由車競技場"作為~"標的".學校系所,結合在地社區民眾的建議,擬定內容及企劃書,依據其內容、創意與後續公共參與推動策略,評選出三組優勝團隊。
第二階段:公共參與推動
獲選三組優勝團隊,本會將提供獎金支持後續公共參與計畫執行,促使其提案構想進一步引發公眾討論關注。
另一方面,我們卻也看到面對新的社會型態與生活需求,許多地區的人們卻又苦於必要公共空間與生活設施之嚴匱乏,衍生出諸如生活品質、人口產業外移、地區衰頹等問題。基於此,行政院公共工程委員會(以下簡稱本會)希望超越僅著眼個別閒置館舍之問題意識,而是更前瞻性的思考「以閒置公有設施啟動地區活化再生」之可能。
故辦理【公有設施活化與地區再生提案競賽】公開徵求青年創意提案,其目的在於藉由青年的熱情、活力,提出具地區再生創意構想與引發公眾討論關注推動策略,引領公共政策朝前瞻性與創新方向邁進。

基於前述「提出具地區再生創意構想與引發公眾討論關注推動策略」之目的,本競賽採提案徵選與公眾參與兩階段執行方式。提案徵選階段提案團隊依規定(詳後)提擬提案企畫書,並依據其內容、創意與公眾參與推動策略,評選後選出三組優勝團隊。公眾參與階段獲選三組優勝團隊,將補助經費推動後續公眾溝通工作,藉由諸如工作坊、研討會、展覽、行動藝術或經其它公眾參與方式,促使該提案構想與在地公眾進行對話,其累積成果做為本會與地方政府後續推動執行之參考。
本提案競賽標的由提案團隊自行選定,但應符合以下原則:

2.為「特定類型」(如軍營、宿舍/住宅、機構、學校、廠房..等)之公有設施群;或具一定規模(基地面積大於1,000㎡或建築樓地板面積大於2,000㎡)之單一公有設施。
3.應符合以公有設施帶動地區活化再生此一主題精神。
參賽者/團體,請注意徵件時間以免向隅!
徵件時間:
100年12月09日(五)起,至101年02月26日(一)下午5時正(以郵戳為憑)。
(1)選出三組優勝團隊,分別獲頒獎狀乙張,及新台幣25萬元之公眾參與計畫獎勵經費。
(2)獎勵經費分兩期給付,獲選後即撥付20萬元,執行完成公眾參與計畫後撥付其餘5萬元。
2. 要求
⋯⋯ ⋯⋯ 針對本競賽本會將辦理成果活動(預計101年5月),獲選優勝團隊應配合辦理下列事項:
(1) 依據所提公共參與計畫執行後續事項,且於101年4月30日前辦理完成,並提交工作成果報告。
(2) 前項工作成果報告,包括提案完整說明、公共參與執行成果之展板,以及其它有助成果呈現之模型、裝置、影像播放、表演等。又展板規格由本會另訂之,並以另案經費統一輸出製作,而其餘項目應由獲選優勝團隊自行製作。
(3) 參與本會召開相關工作諮詢會議,就公共參與計畫推動概況與成果報告展現方式進行報告。
(4) 配合本會之成果活動,參與展示場地佈展並發表成果專題報告。
