Lease is pretty much the same - the negotiation starts with invoice. Pay attention to drive-off total: 1. It is advisable not to put any down payment. Your total drive off should only consist of: 1st month payment+acquisition +registration+MACO(document fee)+Multiple Security Deposit(optional).
2. Incentive/truck money/buildout credit should not be applied as capital reduction because it is taxable.
3. Money factor shouldn't be marked up unless it is european delivery.
4. Banek fee/acquisition shouldn't be mark up for example it is 725 in BMW and dealer can adjust it up to 925.
5. It is usually advisable to put maximim security deposit, for BMW one security deposit will reduce the money factor by 0.005% and you are allow to do 7 of them. Plus they are fully refundable when lease matured.
6. Residual should aline with what manufacture publised to dealer bulletin. Do a search at beginning of each month will be published somewhere in forum.
That's all I could think of. Again this applies to Audi/Porsche, BMW. and Mercedes mostly.
