各位的新車大都多少里程後才做第一次機油更換?

賓士原廠說第一次更換機油為8000km,以下連結為國外討論區某車友於1800km時更換的機油狀況

I dont understand why MB insists that you dont need to change the factory break in oil at 1k miles (dont even get me started on the 10k oil change intervals).

If anyone thinks or believes MB when they say an oil change after break in is not necessary check out the pics below.

I just changed my oil after 1112 miles on the odometer, below are pics of a sample of the oil that came out.

All those little sparkle things are tiny specs of metal that are a by product of the break in process, and your oil is full of it after you have broken in your car. You defiantly dont want all those metal particles circulating in your engine for 10k miles.
