由於越來越多 DVD 錄影機支援 DVD-RW 以 VR 格式化後存為 VRO 檔, 好像家用 DVD 錄影機也是這種存檔. 我因某些原因想將分離出來的 VRO 檔再燒錄至另外一片 DVD-RW, 可是好像找不到有軟體能夠將這類檔案直接寫回去 VR 格式的 DVD. 曾經詢問過 NERO Vision 是否可增加功能, 在不轉換壓縮規格下直接依 UDF 的位置寫回去, 或者不損原稿的資料自動安排 DVD-RW VR and/or DVD-Video 的燒錄, 但是他們的客服友善的回了信如下:
I'm sorry to tell you, that a reencoding of your VRO files has to be done. The VRO files are in the MPEG-2 format but they are not standard compliant and that is the reason why Nero Vision can't use the smartencoding functionallity.
因為 DVD 與 VCD 的影片都有依對映區域的指標方式來播放, 雖然直接把檔案與原目錄拖到 PC 的燒錄片上也可寫成 "好像" 的碟片, 但是只有 PC 軟體如 PowerDVD 會找檔案來播放, 一放到 DVD Player 就破功了, 所以請教高手如雲的 Mobile01 眾家大俠, 有沒軟體可以在不轉檔壓縮保留原資料的方式燒錄到 DVD-R/RW? 而且能夠被一般 DVD Player 所接受播放?

I've checked this one's feature. It says:
Rather than completely re-encoding video contents, the transcoding engine dynamically and rapidly recompresses video data streams with a minimal reduction in quality so that they will fit exactly to the size of the writable DVD media (4.5GB/8.5GB).
It looks better than Nero Vision, but not sure it'll down picture quality on down data stream function. I prefer write back straight to DVD-VR.
