In 2011 each of the Taiwanese graphics cards manufacturers - ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and PowerColor - put it on the market more than two million graphics cards. In 2012, the company intends to ramp up production.
So, ASUS, has managed to ship about 5.1 million cards last year, this year plans to deliver 5.5-5.6 million accelerator, which is about 14-15% of global supply, estimated to be 37-38 million. MSI hopes to sale in video stores 3.7 million, an increase of the supply by 20% compared to 2011.
Gigabyte managed to achieve 2.7 million graphics cards in the past year, the company now expects that in 2012 this figure will exceed 3 million units. PowerColor does not make optimistic forecasts, and plans to ship 2.3 million graphics cards, which corresponds to 2011.
