看看上一代：
AMD的RDNA 2 的 6900XT 有5120 個單元，26.8B 個電晶體，
nVidia 3090 有10496 個運算單元（3090ti 有10752），有28.3B個電晶體
這一代：
AMD的RDNA 2 的 7900XT 應該會有12288 個單元，應該會有65B 個電晶體左右（尚未發表）
nVidia 4090 有16384 個運算單元，總共75B 個電晶體。
雖然說核心不同，沒辦法完全這麼比，但目前看起來，如果最後效能差不多，AMD 以65B 個電晶體數打75B 電晶體數，那 nVidia 的成本應該會比AMD 高不少。

3. NVIDIA definitely kept the price high so that it doesn't compete with their 3000 series card which they have too much in inventory thanks to the mining crash and market flooded with used GPUs. (Until they finish clearing out the 3000 series inventory, then you can expect the prices for the 4000 series to drop.)
