當年我在用這種主機版的時候,
裝的是雙PIII-450 (可OL至PIII 600),
大致上跟您的環境沒多大差異,
唯一看得出來的是...我用的是ECC SDRAM...不是一般的RAM,
另外我當年用的也是一顆快NT$2000的Power,(400W?)
所以穩得很....

建議您可以先換顆Power,再不行再去找找好一點的RAM,
不過....這種老機還要花這樣的錢,您心底要先盤算盤算.

小弟電腦不是很暸啦!!
只是小弟的PIII800雙cpu每次重裝Win2000 or XP時,
執行一段時間也會當機,主要是一塊音效卡的驅動程式不合,
更新後就正常了,
Win2000 or XP對舊電腦的硬體蠻挑的!!!

敝人當年的Intel 雙P3主機板
在插單CPU的場合時空的SLOT必須插上terminator
不插terminator就不給開機
不知道台灣的主機板設計是否能避掉這個設計

移除或停用SCSI,先用內建的ATA跑看看會不會有相同的情形.
作業系統的版本也可能有問題,裝過某版的Win2000 Server(隨伺服器出貨正版),
AppleTalk怎麼開都有問題,連莊3部機器...
換裝其他版本(較早期),解決.

嗯嗯，該主機板支援ECC功能，但現在很難找到PC100的記憶體了...Orz(有ECC功能的也要三張小朋友)

昨天小弟也嘗試用新PC的海韻430W給電，還是一樣慘當T^T...

ecc reg SD RAM 還不難解決,
Y拍有 HP 等server 用的二手 ecc reg SD RAM,
價格還好.

全新的,以前我們是買創見的,應該還不難找

Thanks for your answer...
I could boot my PC without the terminator too!(by the way, I do not have terminator ^^||)
but you remind me that my CPUs are not the similar batch number would be a possible...

It might be a memory or harddisc problem. you may check this:
1.run at 66 mhz. Most motherboard uses a jumper to switch this. If It is a memory or cache problem, 66MHZ would be no problem.
2. Use ide harddisc. SCSI needs right cable and carefully settings. Old and wrong cables are the most common reasons. Using the hdtune or system log to check this harddisc.

Very thanks for your suggestion..

Now I am considering to buy an ECC memory, but how do I discriminate between CPU cache or memory problem?

Could you give me another hints?
