看看人家官方的說法吧：
Intel will work with its OEM partners to accept the return of the affected chipsets, and plans to support modifications or replacements needed on motherboards or systems.
Intel 將會跟 OEM 夥伴合作來處理回收的產品，並且計畫修改或更換有問題的主機板。
Total cost to repair and replace affected materials and systems in the market is estimated to be $700 million.
全部用於修理與更換問題零件與系統的花費估計要七億美金。
就跟 nVIDIA 顯示晶片出包一樣，負責的廠商會提撥金錢出來做處理，我想要擔心的是國內廠商會不會就把這筆錢吃下來當作沒這回事情，而不是擔心 Intel 不認帳。Intel 承認出包的事情一定會做處理，就像 Pentium FDIV 問題，後來也是 recall 啊。國內廠商的話我就不敢說了，像華碩 W7s 顯示晶片過熱問題，要不是有人去爭取，華碩大概是拿 nVIDIA 的錢，然後還叫消費者傻傻的付 3990 維修更換主機板。
