Glad to know you like your car. I think the key is that changing oil more frequently will definitely help in long run.
You can try Toyota, Honda or Nissan. Their engines are even better but handling in Mazda is better, I think. No one is perfect. You need to make decision like choosing your girlfriend/boyfriend, wife/husband.
