Bree is the highest paid QB last year only because of signing bonus, etc,. That is not his annual salary. Manning's 10M is only his salary. His total income was 42M with outside income. But of course, we shouldn't be comparing outside income here.
I wouldn't really compare F1 salary because many driver in F1 pay to drive. only some actually gets paid.
A-Rod does have the biggest contract in sports, there is no other 250M+ contract. But yes, there are contracts that pays more than 25M/year.
Anyways, whether A-Rod is worth it or not depends on too many factors but in the end, somebody will pay it.
