That's my own personal assessment," said Army Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, when speaking to reporters on Wednesday,
Milley argued that the reason there were no casualties had "more to do with the defensive techniques that our forces used as opposed to intent."
He added, "We took sufficient defensive measures that there were no casualties to US personnel, coalition personnel, contractors or Iraqis."

伊朗發射了幾十枚地對地飛彈,絕大多數落在基地外圍,
僅僅破壞了一些設施,完全沒有美軍傷亡.
要麼就是伊朗飛彈科技爛到爆炸,
要麼就是如小弟昨天所說:
伊朗極富人望的知名將軍被美國公開處決,伊朗要向國內外交代,
必須有所回應.
而這個回應;也就是昨天的飛彈攻擊,是極度謹慎,避免造成美軍傷亡.
飛彈攻擊後不久,伊朗外交部長趕緊發表軟到不行的聲明,
希望雙方就此算了,各有台階可下.
極富人望,全國知名,且是直接對最高領袖負責的將軍被美國公開處決,
伊朗也不想與美國全面開戰,隨便設幾十枚飛彈到美軍基地外圍,
算是向國人與世人交代,說是伊朗不怕美國,伊朗有反擊.
