Material and Methods
An engergetic and curious cat, i.e. young, boring, and over-fed, that usually can be found in short hair strain. The cat used here is a hybrid with phenotyps of red American short hair, about 9 month old. When the cat looked boring and you find a mosquito, any species, on a light color wall, hold the cat and face him to the wall with mosquito. The color contrast between mosquito and wall will be an important issue here. Make sure that you have a white or light yellow color wall and a dark color mosquito. Hose mosquito may not be an ideal candidate here, and Asian tiger mosquitos will be proper ones.
Ignore any complain or relucteness that the cat may show during the process. Just keep his/her eyes on the wall most of the time. Usually the cat will note the mosquito that flying away. If not, try few more times. The hunter's instincts of the boring cat will kick in automatically after few times. You should observe the attempts of the cat trying to catch the mosquito during this process or staring at it when it flies. If the cat showes the behavior trying to hunt mosquito, just let hime/her go and do it.
Results and Discussion
The cat after training showed highly momentums to hunt mosquitos due to the lack of preys or toys that interest him. He does not need a wall or light colr surface to reveal mosquitos anymore, and the phenomenon that he tries to catch a mosquito with both fore-paws was observed. It was amazed that cat can do that just like the instinct reaction of regular humanbeings. However, the cat still showed much higher attention to cockroaches or other bigger insects in the room after training.
The cat showed such behavior through his life. This learning behavior seemed to be kept in his memory. However, there is only one cat involved in the trial, there is no gaurantee that other cats have same or similar learning behavior. The American short hair or short hair strains of cat are considered as active and curious cat (ref), so anyone wants to repeat the trial should use the same or similar strain.

其實很多對人影響性小的農藥，DDT跟最近很紅的neo-nictinoids 都因為環境影響因素停用，但我覺得家用反而合適，不過法規禁用應該都會一併禁用，很無奈

所以大概每年都會要來一次跳蚤大作戰
累積下來總結的經驗目前還蠻有效的
首先就是噴藥的時間,之前看的資料好像是說要每隔七天就噴一次
可是我自己是先連噴兩到三天,以噴完隔天不會被咬當作基準
如果今天噴完了明天沒有被咬,那隔天就不噴了,如果還會
那就繼續,通常有確實的話最多三天應該就可以把成蟲殺光
接下來是隔五天之後再連噴三天,在隔五天再噴三天
目前是都噴到第三次就可以根絕
殺蟲劑的話就去賣場買一般的水性殺蟲劑
只要上面有標示可以殺跳蚤的都可以
不管事綜合型的還是專殺跳蚤的都可,因為用量蠻大的
所以後來都是挑便宜的買,因為懶得跑很多次
所以每次都一買就十罐比較好算錢
接下來就是噴藥的動作了,噴藥的時候先想好看是要由內而外
還是由外而內,這邊的內外是門的標示
看從裡面一路噴到門口,還是從門口一路噴進屋內
噴的時候有一個很重要的,就是即使是角落縫隙也要噴
基本上牆角我會直接靠近噴濕,然後大面積的話
把殺蟲劑離地約膝蓋高度掃射,床上也要噴
床上的話也是離床大概60公分高把整個床面掃過一次
然後被子掀開,枕頭拿開,剛剛壓住沒噴到的地方再掃過一次
如果床有靠牆,那床跟牆壁的縫隙也要噴,如果有堆雜物的地方
也是整個都要噴,冰箱底下,床下,櫃子或是桌子中間的縫隙
通通都要有噴到,基本上就是地板整個平面都要有噴到
如果有堆東西在地上,那堆著的東西也要當作是地板的延伸
一樣要噴,如果是有院子花園之類地方的,也是通通要噴過一次
公寓的話最好門口,門口走到一直到樓梯間整個也都噴過
因為這樣噴下來會整間房子都是殺蟲劑的味道
可以的話最好是早上要出門上班前施作
記得門窗要緊閉效果才會比較好
車子的話剛好相反,晚上下班確定不會上車之後
就把整台車地板通通噴一次,隔天上班開車的時候窗戶打開通風一下就可以
有用掃地機器人或是吸塵器的話,打開機器,把殺蟲劑從入口噴進去
可以殺死裡面的成蟲,如果是免紙袋的,倒馬桶沖掉
用紙袋的,塑膠袋裝起來綁好丟掉,清完後吸塵器內部也最好噴一下
然後如果真的很多,噴的時候跳蚤就會逃竄會跑到自己身上來
所以要噴之前最好先把自己的褲管鞋子腳上噴一下
這樣才不會一噴跳蚤一跑出來就通通往身上集中
