1. Oh, I know San Jose, I'd been there for business for several times. I used to go to San Francisco 4 times a year. So I think the driving time is about 1-1/2 hours, right?
2. HK$4,780.00 is a pretty good deal (US$620.00 approx.), as far as I know, the retail price in Taipei is NT$21,000.00 (US$660.00 approx.). But who knows? the price could be cheaper after bargainning.
3. Yes, the Asus P525 is reported as having some problems like Dopod's newly available model, CHT9000. We will have to wait and see.

1. Yes. It take me 1 hour to go to SF. But SJ does have many Chinese phone dealership so we don' t have to go to SF for best phone deal.

2. Another advantage for HK shopping is free tax. I am following this HK thread for the latest HK price and this one for the problem update.

3. Seems like it's a universal problem for Asus (P525), Dopod (9000) and Eten (M600). Maybe they are using the the same digitier from the same source.

I believe so, there must be a lot of Chinese phone dealership since the PDA devices must be pretty popular among the people living in silicon valley area, especially there are a lot of Chinese among them.
