今天第五站肯定是個艱苦的賽程，Di Luca表示關於第五站，他會好好監控另外三位他覺得具有威脅性的對手，
這三位分別是Gilberto Simoni、Ivan Basso及Carlos Sastre

以上這三位因為都隨著集團衝刺，所以完賽時間與Di Luca一樣
總成績方面：
10Carlos Sastre (Spa) 0.49(與Di Luca差距47秒)
11 Ivan Basso (Ita) 0.53(與Di Luca差距51秒)
17 Gilberto Simoni (Ita) 1.06(與Di Luca差距1分04秒)
