Characters
Once the player leaves Vault 101, there are several possible companions who can join the player in the adventure.
* The first possible companion most people will meet is a former raider named "Jericho". He demands a great deal of money before he will join, and he will not work for players with good karma.
* Another character who will only work for players with bad karma is "Clover", a slave-girl in Paradise Falls. You need money to buy her contract.
* "Butch" is a fellow refugee from Vault 101 who will join you but only after you complete a quest in which you return to Vault 101. Also, "Butch" will only work for players with neutral karma.
* A traveling salesman is willing to sell you a robot named "Sergeant RL-3". Finding the salesman takes some hunting as he moves around a "Robco" factory in the south west part of the map. Like "Butch", the robot will only work for players with neutral karma.
* "Charon" is a ghoul who guards a bar in the Ghoul city of "Underworld". You need to get his contract from the bar owner but he will work for anyone.
* "Paladin Star Cross" was an old friend of the player's father who will agree to join, if you have good karma. She can only be found once you gain access to the "Citadel" (which is The Pentagon, in a state of some disrepair).
* "Fawkes" is a friendly Super Mutant who can only be found late in the game when you explore the hidden Vault 87. He will only join the player after the escape from the Enclave base and he will only join players with good karma.
Only one of these will join the player at a time. Unlike the companions in other similar games (such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the companions in Fallout 3 have no "character-based" dialog options and no one else reacts to their presence.

當玩家步出Vault 101之後...會有一些可能加入您的隊伍一起冒險的夥伴.
*第一個大部份人都會遇到的可能加入的夥伴是一位原本為強盜的"Jericho"(在Megaton裡). 他加入的前提是你要支付他一筆錢並且你的相性需為"惡"
*另一個需要您相性為"惡"才會加入您的夥伴的角色為"Clover", 她是居住在Paradise Falls的奴隸女孩, 你同樣需要支付一筆錢去買下她的合約.
*"Butch"(遊戲一開始那個壞小鬼)是住在Vault 101的難民, 在你完成重回Vault 101的任務之後就可以讓他加入, 你需要相性為"中立"才能讓他加入你成為夥伴.
*一位旅行商人會兜售一個名叫"Sergeant RL-3"的機器人. 你會在"Robco"工廠以地圖西南的部份找到這位商人, 這部機器人只會幫相性為"中立"的玩家工作.
*食屍鬼"Charon"是在一位位於食屍鬼城市"Underworld"裡做酒吧守衛工作的角色. 你需要跟該酒吧的老闆買下他的合約讓他加入夥伴(任何相性皆可).

*"Fawkes" 是一個親切的超級變種人, 你可以在遊戲後期探所過Vault 87之後找到他的蹤影. 他會在當玩家逃出Enclave基地後並當玩家的相性為"善"時同意加入你的行列.
玩家只能挑選其中一位加入您的隊伍. 當已有夥伴加入的狀態去觸發別的角色對話時會隱藏加入的對話.
大概是醬子..希望大家都能找到夥伴...
看來當壞人只能找到一些小咖的夥伴...不過好處是在遊戲初期就可以找到
當好人可以找到強力的夥伴..不過初期就吃虧了點...要等到後期才能加入(有超級變種人跟聖騎士耶XD)
當中立的機器人好像也不錯...但是Butch那個死小鬼就當沒有這個人就好了..噗噗
