"不可靠" 那是因為他們在討論的是 RX-7, 使用的是代號 13B 的 rotary engine...RX-8 身上搭配的是新型的 Renesis 13B-MSP, 基本上, 排氣口位置重新設計過, 所以不再有油封每 3000~5000km 激烈操駕就要更換的問題
RX-8, 之前車隊上車友普遍碰到的問題就是 耗油, 無力 (無低扭力), 套件取得不易, 維修麻煩...因為原廠要找到好的師傅不容易 (actually...會整理 rotary 的原廠技師根本沒幾個), 大部分改裝廠的黑手比原廠的還 pro, 設備更齊全, 改裝套件不足 (北美)
基本上, it's a car that lets you drive leisurely cuz there's a general lack of power to kick the tail wide open and it handles pretty neutral for a FR; not a bad thing for a factory pocket rocket
but C/P value for other similarly priced cars are much much higher; ie. 350Z
