在116i sport (144W+4W sport line) 與 118i sport中舉棋不定, 兩者之間的差別是馬(扭)力, 輪圈及藍芽(&USB)系統, 選配藍芽系統再加17吋輪圈後價差就不多了, 苦惱中, 請大大給個意見, 特別是118i的車主, 來毒小弟一下吧.

網路上查了一下 realoem 比對 116i與118i 料號
引擎, 噴油嘴, 驅動軸, 避震器, 彈簧,
渦輪 大陸料號11627645759=116i 11627645758=118i 差一個數字 祥查一下 在德國都叫 11627633925根本就是一樣難道是商業欺敵用,
變速箱, 防傾桿, 煞車 等 怎麼都一樣....好奇
難道晶片不一樣就可以影響動力輸出那麼多喔...
感覺118i就是在買配備好一點罷了..

We have also now released our engine tuning upgrade for the 116i which takes it to 200hp and costs £1966 inc VAT. This includes our comprehensive engine/drivetrain warranty which runs alongside the BMW warranty for the first 2 years (from new, extendable to 3 years). Standard hp is 136, and while this is a big jump in power it's only possible *because* the 116i is a de-tuned 118i. So in effect, you are getting (nearly) a tuned 118i engine . The clutch/gearbox/brakes etc are all the same so can easily cope with the increase.

I am not selling anything. I just want to point out that a 116i can be tuned much higher while a 118i can only be tuned a little higher. One explanation (not the only one, though, see below) is that the 118i has already been tuned to the max by BMW while the 116i ....
Of course the company selling the tuning products may be clueless in figuring out 118i.
Personally, I will not do this kind of turning unless I really trust the providers (i.e., they will, and have the ability to, honor their warranties).
I simply want to point out BMW really should clearly illustrate the differences (116i vs 118i; 320i vs 325i vs 328i; and some other engines too) - like what they did with the M class. Otherwise, one could speculate BMW's sales practice is, at very least, questionable...
Sorry, just ranting... (I am not a BMW hater either, in fact I rather admire this company other than some of their sales practices.)
