Sorry can not type Chinese!!! Please no pen fights too.
1. Last Friday, I did my first oil change at 2500Km. After oil change (Castrol SLX 5-30 LL04, Gold bottle). Engine sound was less noise when start up. Sounded more smooth too.
Driving is quiter and Turbo Spool up quicker too. Less lalala dadada. But still have the ring ring ring around 1500-2000 RPM.
Please note: (My 123D service bay was beside a brand new F-10 523i. The 523i engine ticking sound was louder then mine when Idle. both with the hood open)
2. Idle shake shake. It is normal I have try many 123d and it is all like that. Some shake harder. After my oil service, it feel less shake shake, almost none in P, N or D.
3. As I recall on some artical. The trubo spool up around 1400-1500. If I was correct. If not please correct.
Good car to drive around. Lots of torque
I hope this help.
I live in Taichung, also white 123D. March delivery.
Is it true? 523 engine ticking sound is louder than 123D's You mean 523D or 523? 123D and 523D with the same engine, right? It doesn't make sense that 523D engine's ticking sound is louder than 123D's
I think for now, BMW Taiwan only have new F10 in 523I, 528I and 535I.
Please correct if I'm wrong. They are no plans to import the 123d engine in the new f10 5 series. Later only 520D will come. Once again, Please correct me if I'm wrong. Because things may change.
So, I'm pretty sure that was a 523I getting ready to be deliver to customer. They were running the engine with the BMW computer on. My was also on the Idle & hook up to the computer. that is why I can hear both ba.
Anyway, once you sit inside the car and the ticking are gone, only the revving sweet sound of BMW engine is music to the ears.
