335i將換N55新引擎!!!!

在BMW發表新的5系列GT後,有趣的是535i GT搭載的引擎居然是新的N55而不是現在普遍用在335i,740i上的
那顆獲頒年度引擎大獎的N54.......

哪裡有趣呢?先說說這個新的N55-
直列六缸turbo引擎:306hp;400nm (與335i的數據一樣)
但是.....它是...單渦輪(雙渦流Twin power)
BMW表示新的N55引擎採用全新twin-power系統,讓單渦輪的N55能達到與雙渦輪N54一樣的output....
N55更克服了N54無法搭載獨家valvetronic技術的障礙,讓這個新引擎能提前在1200rpm時就能釋放大扭力
油門反應也比N54更好,重量更輕,更省油。

這表示.....搭載35i的引擎明年都將換成單渦輪???
感覺怪怪的.....怎麼有點自打嘴巴的感覺........不知與耐用度有沒有關聯啊
感覺BMW一直將旗下引擎降規格(連柴油也是:730d單渦輪,不用535d的雙渦輪)
該不會要區隔一般車款與M Power吧(一般款:單渦輪;M版:雙渦輪)
看看後續發展囉.......(2000cc turbo汽油何時會出??)
嗯...值得討論。



另外....
外觀飽受大家批評的新5系GT......
我突然有一種感覺........
實車或許會很漂亮喔 (或加裝跑車套件後)
可能會跌破大家的眼鏡也說不定......希望如此...........

Fuel efficiency is the most they care about recently~~
Single turbo will also reduce repair cost for owner~~
single twin-scroll turbo,所以是把x5m/x6m的turbo拔一顆裝到L6上嘛
twin turbo的版本也會出吧?(worldcarfans寫360hp?)

好個upgrade!

It seems while BMW is working on fuel efficiency, reducing polution etc, they are also trying very hard to minimize turbo lag and increase drivability. While the long awaited valvetronic adds great deal of intake control efficiency(while allowing even more percise control on direct injection), reduce intake lag from a traditional throttle, the twin scroll turbo should work well with the system which enables more stable charge versus twin turbos sitting on two different exhaust banks, and ultimately, reduce production costs (reduced one turbo, different exhaust monifold, sensors and control on such a mass production engine.

單顆渦輪其實反而好調教.
所以其實也無什麼壞處.
如果單渦輪雙渦流真的能達到 BMW 所說的雙渦輪的好處, 那麼的確沒理由不接受及相信
BMW做法是把原本N54直列六缸, 排氣岐管部份切成兩段
既然都用上Twin-scroll渦輪, 一到三缸匯流到一個渦流道、四到六缸形成另一個渦流
如果俺的認知沒錯, F01 760Li應該也是用類似的設計;所以都稱之為TwinPower Turbo!
X5M、X6M V8TT也是用Twin-scroll, 總計有四個進氣渦流, 也搭配點火順序形成兩缸匯集一道
BMW搞渦輪引擎, 個人認為也很高杆;看V8TT高出力版岐管的巧思就知道
採用單顆Twin-sroll渦輪肯定會減輕引擎重量, 不過加上Valvetronic肯定成本也上升...

我認同樓上Boxy所言的drivability、efficiency、minimize turbo lag、improve turbo reponse
