hmmm... 我開一部小改的miata(stock motor + tien coil-over+ 15" falken azenis)在street willow running same lap time next to a 997 turbo. lighter weight does make lots of difference on track...
life is racing and everything else is waitin'!!!

跟的上嗎?? miata沒有很利害, 我也沒有很利害, but i know my car well enough that i kept up w/ some evos, e36 m3s. at fountain valley as well as the street. well, you know what happened at end of each sessions loh. yes, the poorshit and some of those other folks arent talents, but there are enough disparities between the rides. i think i did pretty well...

I am quite familiar with the Irwindale speedway next to 605 and I havn't seen a miata that matches up an Evo or M3...You MUST be a surperb driver! Yet, I have seen many drivers who are careless about their own cars so that they never worry about carsh into other cars and they always win because the others will always run away from them.

Well, I am not sure what you are talking about since 135i is a nice chick car and miata is capable of matching up with 997/M3...etc.

Are you talking about that you are an excellent driver or your miata has the best weight/power ratio for a daily fun car?? Or both??

也許 I misunderstood you, 但是 if you can use only English or 中文, you can 幫助 everyone 了解 you better.

hey dude, i was only making a comment about the car. it's my personal opinion. arent we all just express our personal thoughts about what we think of the car here?? unfortunately, you are the one who made the first reply which i thought was irrelevant to the topic... "歐 酸,酸酸酸 開不到的都是小女生開的." and what makes you think i cannot afford one?? dont get me wrong here, i do prefer bmw over mercedes benz, audi, vw. even though i have a merc parked in my garage... i had my miatas (first gen. @ 2300lb est. and second gen. 2500lb est.) and 993 c4s( 3300lb est.) on track, and weight does make a difference... especially in transitions. i had a z3 2.8 on track once. 'didnt like it much(wobbly chassis. heard they fixed it w/ the z4). 'thought about getting a 3rd gen. miata, but it's weight turned me away. 'never stated i'm a excellent driver. what da hell is a excellent driver?? i know many many "excellent" drivers, but i'm confident on track. btw, dont you know that driving recklessly on track will get yourself kicked out or killed?!! if i do race anyone on track, i do it fair and square. comparing oranges to apples?? am i' comparing it to suv? or pick-ups?? also, i prefer mix type in english and chinese. if you dont like it, that's your problem... so, dont be acting like a little kid.

now, all i was trying to say is that the 1 series was intended to use the iconic 2002 tii(2200lb est.) as it's predecessor which was a "light weight" agile performance oriented sports sedan. as i stated previously, at 3300lb+ for a sport compact it sure aint light weight. anyway, anyone interested about the 2002 tii, here's a link... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_2002tii

Irwindale Speedway... isnt that supposedly be like an one mile oval?? even if u configure the in-field into a road course... it's probably good enough for go-carts. 'didnt know that bmw have joined nascar...

good sh*t...LMAO

Jaku,
