BMW要做前驅小車了~~~

假如project i是完全的電動車,那底盤的概念跟我們現在所認知的就會完全不一樣。我上面有提過,現在的底盤完全是圍繞整套動力系統去設計的,引擎怎麼擺?擺哪裡?就限制了車子的底盤結構甚至是外型。但到了電動車時代,就完全不一樣了,電動車要考慮的東西少很多,只要確定電池跟人要放哪裡,不用考慮變速箱,馬達可以用一個主馬達或是4個輪內馬達,馬達既可以放前面也可以放後面,馬達可大可小,對設計師的限制基本上非常少,所以整個底盤的概念跟我們現在所看到的就會完全不一樣了。

能分享一下資料來源嗎?
因為小弟實在沒聽過MINI底盤是從PSA借來的說法
在上一代新MINI R50/53就是用後多連桿了,那時還沒跟PSA合作開發引擎
不知是從PSA的哪一款底盤修改而來?

況且如果modify可以modify到後拖曳臂變多連桿
那我想開發程度也不輸develop了
另外有輛車叫Rover 75,也是BMW開發的前驅車,底盤代號R40

就算把即將發表的TwinPower橫置四缸當作"遠景"
要說MINI上合作開發的引擎是借來的也實在有點牽強

不知我對英文的解讀是否有誤??
PSA models will use the same platform, the only technique difference between this and those created by BMW Group is located in the rear, which will use a Multilink suspension
第一句就寫了:Platform for future models Mini could be developed in collaboration with specialists from PSA.
那之前mini的底盤跟PSA應沒有關聯吧!
再說明仔細一點:
MK1 = R50~R53 : 底盤 + 引擎 from Chrysler

MK2 = R56~ : 底盤 + 引擎 from PSA <==至少是2006前的文...我找不到

MK3 = BMW 打算與 PSA 及 Fiat 共享底盤 <==這是上文那篇2009文章所提及...也是此時提到再下一代的1er(可能2018年?)有機會改前驅??
沒定案前...都只是風向球...看看市場反應....再決定下一步


結論: 在2011/08/03之前....沒證據顯示BMW有意願及必要去做前驅小車??
BMW開始玩渦輪就算了還多了前驅..怎麼會這樣

BMW CEO reconfirms future FWD vehicle

Confirmed today by BMW CEO, Dr. Norbert Reithofer during the Annual Accounts Press Conference, the FWD vehicle and a four-wheel-drive vehicle architecture will underpin a new range of entry-level BMW cars as well as next-generation Mini models.

British magazine Autocar has the scoop on what BMW is planning in terms of variants for the just introduced new generation 1-Series.

According to the report, BMW will offer the 1-Series in a total of six different body variants divided into two different build architectures.

First up is the current 5-door, RWD hatchback which will also offer up a 3-door hatch variant next year (2012).

Next up will be where the big changes start. A two-door coupe and cabriolet, also RWD, will be launched but under the new 2-Series badge. No 4-door sedan variant is planned but the model will feature a new 3.0 liter turbocharged six-cylinder power plant with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

Finally, will come the variants built on a new FWD platform which will take the 1-Series into its next-generation as a mainly FWD model. In 2014, BMW will introduce the front-drive 1-Series GT and a 1-Series estate/wagon variants.

在F20公佈後....已確認第二代1er不會有FF車設定

至於2er或4er的風聲....猜測(胡扯?)好像沒停過??





但是...誰能肯定在第三代1er或初代0-series或許真會有FF車設定??
