My dad has BMW 7 series since the 1st generation..
He never thinks about MBZ...he was trying to get S550 before he got his new 740Li(current model)
For my personal record...
I had 2000 BMW 528i, 2001 Benz ML320, 2002 Lexus GS300, 2003 BMW 330Ci, 2004 Benz C230K.
I currently own 2007 E550 and 2008 535i(twin turbo)....
I like BMW more....I dont have too many problem with BMW....My 528I had about 110,000 miles and without too many problems...330Ci was sold last yr with about 98,000miles...the only problem was radiator replaced once and flushed tranny oil.....Except regular maintain, I dont remember that I go back to dealer often.
For my ML and E550. I had too many computer error messages pop up very often especially Check Engin light...MBZ is good but quality is not that good compared with BMW in these yrs. People prefer MBZ in Taiwan probably because of the bling bling star~
For Lexus, it's really quite.....rides very comfortable (but like cruise for me).....but still have some electrical issue..I went back to Longo Lexus dealer for at least 10 times in a yr. I can't agree with a lot people say that Lexus has less problems than BMW and MBZ.
