0769 is the telephone code of Dongguan in China, www.0769bike.net is our website, so the team has the name from there.The club starts to September 2007, the main bike brand in the team is DAHON at the very beginning, it is a biggest folding bike brand from U.S, simple and easy, the first group members were girls & kids. They like biking around the closest garden, enjoy with games and snakcks in the warm sunday afternoon.

In the spring of 2008 we bought a new brand Giant, it’s a brand from TW, good at MTB, they also make small amount of racing bike, city bike and folding bike. As the biggest, longest brand in TW, lot of TW people who working in Dongguan love it, because most of them have Giant bikes when they still a child. They said Giant bike can take them to the long lost past time， it is a link to help them to come back there and remember a lot of stories in childhood in TW. It is the time to organize them together, they were invit & join in the club, start to know each other, speaking their own language, making friends, biking together to somewhere never been, so 0769bike team have 70% members from TW at that time.
The TW people is the world people in Dongguan, they help us to design the fashion 0769bike team T-shirt, ride expensive bikes, always find good, new equipments from TW or HK. That attracted the young Chinese people, the young men start to grasp & try to understand MTB sports, they joined in 0769bike team and excitedly found Dongguan is the heaven to ride a MTB since the government has built 6 forest gardens which spots around the city during these years. With more and more young people join in, they became the main members gradually with nobody notice it at all. Those young Chinese people have high education, high salary job, more overtime in office but less sport chance. 0769bike club make the different biking plans to them, include morning exercise, evening skill teaching everyday and weekly outing each Sunday. When the time past, the youth grow up with skilled control on bike，they were not satisfied with the relax trip, then the team set up.
In the middle of Aug 2009, 0769bike team put on the new design team T-shirt, join in the big bike events, help to organize bikecycle match. Some of members won in several big matches which hosted by the Bicycle organization or Dongguan government, it is the honor to everybody in the team, they walk out and talk about 0769bike team to the others, and the club name were find by more people in Guangdong province. In the beginning of 2010, 0769bike hire the best technicians & employees to make a better services, keep optimizing the website, find more new resources of parts and equipments from abroad, it will be a wonderful year to 0769bike team and all it members in Guangdong.
