這是在Orange county發行的一個Orange County Bikeways Map中所提供的資訊
加州有關自行車的相關規範和一般汽機車都是規範在California Vehicle Code中
其中和牽涉到自行車的部分:
自行車騎士和汽車駕駛同樣享有所有權利與並應負相關責任
(21200 Bicycle riders have all rights and responsibilities of vehicle drivers.)
禁止在酒精或藥物影響下騎乘自行車
(21200.5 It is unlawful to ride a bicycle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.)
夜間騎乘需裝設以下配備:
白色頭燈、或騎士身上裝有白燈、能在300英尺前方或側方被看見
紅色反光板, 能讓機動車輛燈光反射並在500英尺外被看見
踏板需裝有白色或黃色反光板, 能在車前方或後方200英尺處被看見
自行車前方兩側需安裝白色或黃色反光板, 後方兩側需安裝紅色或黃色反光板, 或輪胎有反光效果
(21201 The fllowing eqiupment is reqiured on bicycles ridden at night:
- A white headlight, or a white lamp attached to the ridder, visible from 300 feet in front of and from the sides of the biycle.
- A red reflector visible rom 500 feet when illuminated by a motor vehicle's headlight.
- A white or yellow reflector on each pedal visible from 200 feet to the front and to the rear of the bicycle.
- A white or yellow reflector on each side of the front of the bicycle, and a white or red reflector on each side of the back of the bicycle, or reflectorizzed tires.)
自行車需裝有永久坐墊。乘客須有分離的坐墊。四歲以下或體重低於40磅之乘客需受約束與保護遠離車上可移動之部分
(21204 The bicycle must have a permanent seat. Passengers must have a sparate seat. Those under four years old, or weighing under 40 pounds or less, must be restrained and protected from moving parts of the bicycle.)
未滿18歲之自行車騎士或乘客需戴符合ANSI或Snell標準之安全帽
(21212 Bicyclists and bicycle passengers under the age of 18 must wear a helmet that meets ANSI or Snell standards.)
自行車騎士不應在兩耳都掛上耳機。但此規定不適用於助聽器。
(27400 Bicyclists may not wear earplugs in both ears, or a headset covering both ears. This section does not apply to hearing aids)
雖說美國人相對比較守法, 我看人晚上騎車也沒裝這麼多東西
但至少法令還沒那麼白x, 限速15是怎樣??
