1967年誕生的Monkey，是HONDA為了迎合年輕消費者所設計的小型機車，高聳的把手與單座設計，搭配油箱、前後擋泥板，看起來宛如縮小的CB重型機車系列。歷經將近40年的時光，Monkey的基調都沒有做太大改變，且越來越受市場歡迎，甚至還紅到歐美地區，可稱得上一款長壽型產品。
但不說你絕對不知道，Monkey最早的前身在1961年問世，原本僅是東京都日野市多摩樂園的設施之一，當時委託HONDA製作Monkey Z100，爾後才演變成市售的Monkey Z50M。
