代理日本豐田汽車的車行證實，豐田全球回收135萬輛有問題汽車，包括在香港有售的Vitz型號(香港稱為Yaris型號)，涉及800輛汽車。車行指，有關車輛的安全帶可能有問題，他們會通知顧客，把車輛送回車廠維修。
豐田全球回收的汽車，涉及05至08年日本生產的Vitz、Belta及Ractis三個型號，主要是有問題的安全帶，在汽車遇到碰撞時可能會著火，部分車輛排氣系統喉管遇熱時亦可能爆裂，令廢氣超標。
