Please help!!!, i installed DDM HID kit for my car today and ran into a problem.

I able to turn the HID on when the engine is off. But when the engine is on, the HID doesn't turn on automatically like it normally does and nor does it turn on when I try to do it manually either.

But when I turn the HID on before starting the engine, then it stays on
when I start the engine. If I turn it off while the engine is running, it won't come back on.

I looked up disconnecting the DRL but I don't think that's the problem, because the HID don't turn on at all after the engine is started, not even as DRLs.

Please Please!! Help!!!!!!!!

BTW my car is 08'corolla (9th Generation)

First of all, remove the total HID & DRLs module.
Then, you can measure the voltage of original light connector after starting engine.
The voltage must be normal before starting engine.
If the voltage is normal, it must be the "current problem".
If the voltage is abnormal, it must be some problem of electrical connection.
After doing this test, you can install the whole HID set to your car.
Do the measurement repeatly, and maybe some control signal is missing.
"Current problem" always be the main problem I ever meet before.

感謝大大的指點

原因是出在DRL上以修改可以正常使用

可是今天晚上又出問題了

我在開車的時候把燈給關掉

突然時速表直接重50掉到0又彈回50後又回0就不動了(MPH)

連帶ABS & BRAKE燈亮起

當下停車重起又正常了

這是什麼原因造成的呢?

麻煩大大再指點一下

請問版主是自己DIY加裝的HID kit沒錯吧? 你的 HID ballast放在引勤室哪裡?

我的08 camry也是自己DIY加裝HID(H11),當初右邊那顆ballast用3M 汽車膠黏在一個金屬像是一堆線路匯集的平板上，才開1-2天，也是發現所有警示燈號亮起，速度表都是0，而且車子還在行駛中....
後來再過1天右邊那個HID燈管就爆了(是真的爆了，都是碎片)

於是我懷疑是ballast靠那些電子線路太近的影響(23000V產生電磁波影響?)，於是把ballast拔掉往下拉黏在雨刷液箱附近，遠離那些電子線路。目前已經1年多，一切問題都沒有。

我把ballast放在大燈下方藏在前防撞桿上(front bumper 後面那條)

ballast附近沒有電子設備可是右邊ballast靠近電瓶

燈泡會爆?!不會吧希望不要發生在我身上真的沒時間去搞
