police official report was filed on 10/15/2009. Recorded as county record on 12/09/2009.

Release to public on 1/28/10.

As it stands, police report is admissible as evidence in court.

While you may not like it, the police report investigation is closed.

From police point of view, this case is shut and close.

Since no one has brought this case to trial (both civil and criminal). No case has been started, therefore no case to be closed.

But police investigation are done and report is finalized whether you like it or not.

1. If the dealer place wrong mats that caused pedal to be stuck, why is this toyota's fault? This is dealer's problem. dealer are 3rd party entity in US. By law no automobile manufacturer can sell car directly to consumer.

2. No- i did not say that. I have my doubt. But not for you and i to comment on it, since none of us work of toyota. The point of discussion forum is to discuss topic logically not lies. The fact of matter is that investigation in this case is closed by police. Court case has nothing to do with finding and conclusion of the investigation. This is where you are wrong.

3. Out rage? please. In this case on the ES350. While the pedal is stuck to the floor, the vehicle was traveling at 120 mph. Hardly beyond ES350 capability. (The electronic limiter on ES350 is 125 mph). It is still below that.

Unstoppable- says who? The fact of matter is that same situation occurred 3 days earlier and that driver brought the car under control by not panicking and followed the right procedure.

In case you don't know how vaccum system works, please do some research. While Toyota is at fault for not having brake override, many company has the same problem. Including honda. Therefore that should not be used as sole reason to drill toyota. Simple as that.

This case is simple. The dealer screwed up by using the wrong all weather floor mat. Dealer needs to be shot. Toyota is partially at fault since it does not have brake override. But brake override is not required by law. Hence you can't pin that on toyota.

My point is simple. This case has nothing to do with gas pedal recall, nor problem with electronic throttle and should not be part of discussion or support claim of electronic throttle failure.

Simple as that.

Fan boy? hardly. Present truthful information- yes.

I don't like how toyota handled this mess. But this does not mean as public you or i have right to wrongfully mis-represent information to slander a company.

You need to grow up and understand purpose of discussion. Discussing a matter truthfully and without bias is what i want.

Too bad the many sales in this forum is ruining it.

單純用常理判斷

如果小小一塊踏墊可以造成停產跟10億美元的官司的話

我想之前大家就誤會彬爺了....

他本來就是油門卡住...

一直提現有確定是腳踏墊造成的事故(會不會再調查被推翻也不知)
那現在大量召回的是何故呢??
還是樓主也認為通通是人的問題?
K兄還是沒有回答我為什麼您會知道實情?

還有那些說煞車跟油門踩錯的人,到底有沒有開過車?
請自己去車庫發動引擎以後踩踩看,最好是煞車踩下去會跟油門那種軟趴趴的感覺分不出來啦!
我也不相信在全油門下,踩煞車會無法減速

這樣講好了
W211 SBC pump 失效
導致完全無煞車
那 benz 不能買了

而 BMW 之前還有 steering angle sensor 掛了
導致所有的電子安全系統全掛

本田之前五速自排變速箱在高速行駛時可能從五擋直接縮擋到二擋
導致車子失控

所以雙 B 根本田都不用買了
都有問題
(這上面三個問題我通通都有親身經驗)

原來是皇帝喔....難怪經歷過那3大問題後
還只是為T/L車滅火而已
並沒有用這樣的熱心與時間來對那3個牌子的車廠開炮
真的不是我們一般平民的肚量呀
