我知道北美的路況跟台灣不一樣,但如果北美的BMW可以容許一台車2萬多公里才換一次機油,台灣的環境有嚴重到5,000km換一次?這是我比較好奇的地方。更何況,這台車是被一群記者開來開去的,三不五時拿去集體評比、測直線加速,照很多人的邏輯,我想北美BMW的車大概5年就爛掉了,或許這也是BMW只敢推4年保固而不是5年吧?
我想如果在台灣,半年內可以開到1萬公里的話,除了營業用途以外,大概多數的使用時間在高速公路會比較多,引擎在高速路況的時候,其實油溫、水溫都在很穩定的狀態,只有在轉速高高低低的情形下,機油的損耗會比較嚴重,所以用時間跟里程數搭配來看,算是很合理的,不然有些人長期使用高速公路的,3個月就跑個5,000km的話,一年要保養4次,次數也實在太多了一點。
