Here is the lately mileage record of the Triplet Hybrid System.
30% city drive, 70% free way drive
2.7L/100KM (31.75L gas for 1176Km)
41 KWH (度電) House electricity (36 for LiFePO4, 5 for Deep cycle battery)
14 KWH from Solar cells

Besides, for long term safety of usage the 15A MIT switch was changed to 30A MIT circuit breaker.

This is today's mileage record of the Triplet Hybrid System by blended mode with the maximal velocity 70km/hr and partly cloudy sky.
1.6 L/100Km
37.7 KM pure urban (<50km/hr)+ rural (<70km/hr) drive
0.61 L from gas
2.2 KWH from batteries ( about one half of my electric capacity)
0.3 KWH from solar cells

This is the new mileage record of the same commute with blended mode, maximal velocity 68 km/hr and partly cloudy sky. After some modifications of the plug-in system it has better results.
1.1 L/100Km
37.7 KM pure urban (<50km/hr)+ rural (<70km/hr) drive
0.44 L from gas
3.6 KWH from batteries ( about 70% of my electric capacity)
0.2 KWH from solar cells

1.台灣下雨, 沒太陽能動力

2.因第三動力電池的 converter from China and England

相繼故障 (fig-1 fig-2), 沒第三輔助動力,
( 未來將修改電壓升壓方式, 就可採用台灣製品間接升壓, 但轉換效率勢必下降 )

3.此次純由 prius plug-in hybird system blended mode 行駛, maximal velocity 70km/hr
commute: 37.8 km
mileage: 1.3L/100km
Gas: 0.52L
Electricity:3.7KWH

ps, 今日收到英國回信( email 超快 <3 hr), 要求寄回converter 修理

1.今日陰雨, 沒太陽能動力

2.第三動力電池的converter, 臨時採用台灣2家公司產品, 採間接升壓方式; 雖然CT-1200W converter純正弦波似乎不夠純(經電話詢問該廠家它THD Vrms多少, 居然回答:不知道! 只負責生產不負檢驗亦無認証! 實在令人失望!!!!!!) 還好後端的 Mashing comp charger 能夠動態穩定, 實在是台灣之光, 特別在國外網站加以介紹,
3.此次純由 Duo-electric system blended mode 行駛, maximal velocity 68km/hr
commute: 37.7 km
mileage: 1.0L/100km
Gas: 0.39L
Electricity:4.2KWH

1.秋天傍晚陽光弱 Solar power:0.1KWH

2.plug-in 鋰電池:3.8KWH (EV 84%)

3.plug-in 第三動力電池未使用 (the converter from Taiwan is not stable, I'm still waiting the converter from England)

4.Gas:0.41L

今日有試一次 pure EV mode drive: 14.1KM
用電12% (1.22KWH),
Solar charge: 65WH
以前偶曾試 pure EV drive, 電腦總是show 99.99L/100km, 須重on/off 才會歸零
但今SGII上仍顯示0.02L gas, 0.1LHK, 看RPM 為7, 可能是剛開始按EV時不夠快
而NIMH battery 溫度29/28 (環境溫25) 沒過熱,
CCL keeps 12.5A, SOC keeps 66~71%

Hi,
昨日完全照著(P2 - 照著做馬上 3.8L/100km !!,http://priusclub.tw/viewthread.php?tid=9547&extra=page%3D1)做, 果然讓油耗明顯改善14% (from 1.6LHK---->1.4LHK) , 在冬季中距離以blended mode drive:
Commute:122km
mileage1.4LHK,
No solar power
LifePO4:4.2KWH
3rd power battery (Deep cycle): 0.8 KWH (open circuit voltage 12.3V)
gas:1.7L

只是這種開法在台灣很難續用

Hi All,
為改善冬季天冷風強, 油耗較差, 除了將去年冬季自製Grill blocker重新裝上, 更增加部份措施促進Prius II aerodynamics, 果然突破個人以混合模式(blended mode)油耗記錄
mileage: 0.9 L/100Km
Commute:43.1 Km
gas:0.4L
electricity:4.2 KWH
temp:14~15 Deg C
No solar power (night driving)

因toyota prius 之設計非EV, 故其電腦計算純EV drive 之mileage
會有誤差( Odd error) , 如昨日 pure EV drive 6KM
O RPM, O.00 L gas , SG II確非 O LHK

至於部份網友質疑 Plug-in 將減少 toyota HV NIMH battery壽命
這不僅不會, 更能保護其壽命, 國外已有多論述
今日特地show返家之SOC: 66.5%
出發前 68.5% , 行進間 SOC皆在65+/-4 %
ie DOD (depth of discharge)皆＜10 ％
這與一般Prius 常DOD +/- 20% 相較
就可知道Why

聖誕夜風強低溫11degC, AC 開24degC, 市區及快速道路之綜合油耗略差: 1.6LHK
雖已80% grill block 及部份aerodynamic mods ( 4 wheel central smooth + front body gap tape )
實測Cd 為0.25, 日後若裝racing disc + wheel covers 應可降至0.24以下

關於80%Grill block, Max coolant temp 仍很低53degC, 回到家只38degC
應可仿國外更低溫區做90~100% Grill block
但仍須監控之

(至於一般非plug-in hybrid Prius 冬季做50% lower grill block (只block 兩側) 是很安全的)

國外寒帶地 100% grill block 最多人上下皆用plastic pipe

大家也可DIY修改車頭 (改變凹形頭燈, 霧燈),在不影響引擎進氣及冷卻下, 裝部份Grill block,
單這2項就可大幅改善風阻, 降低油耗, 國外報告約可改善6~10%
(A 10% reduction in Cd will result in around 5% in F,E.)
