Very great to hear we have same feeling. I owned many Nissans including 1998 Altima, 2000 Maxima, 2007 G35S and 2010 M35X. I really think Nissan engines can provide very good pickup in low rpm comparing to other same size engines. HP/Torque rating doesn't tell everything. So Nissans may get less mpg in city but in highway it's fine. But for race that's different story. I think you will not buy Sentra for race.
Even though my cars have very good HP/Torque, I always try not to race with others because I know my car is best in lower rpm which is used mostly in daily drive, not race.
