跟STI之於富士一樣

只是三菱的Ralliart部門之前比較著重在WRC上面
在販售增強版車輛(忘記了 有一個名詞)的部分 比較少著墨

這一台Ralliart
好像是用RS車型下去改的....好像是...

在台灣...Ralliart....剩下空力套件跟一些簡易週邊而已....

5MT是疏齒比~~雖然在原廠動力的時候 加速會輸6MT

可是加大動力後 5MT的疏齒比 可以透過較大的馬力 來減少疏齒比帶來的拖速缺點
達到 比6MT變速箱 " 少換一檔 " 的效果

此外同樣是 Evo X, 應像中美規的 ECU 的 timing 有比較保守, 很多人改 Evo X ECU 就用 JDM 的 timing.
美規五檔跟日規六檔比起來

美規五檔的齒比比較疏
五檔的齒比也比日規六檔的齒比來的小

所以 美規打到第五速會有小拖的感覺
相反的 也比較適合大改車~~~大改之後不用重新配齒比 效果就很好~~很適合美國人的改車習慣

日規的齒比較密
比較適合加速跟低速彎多的地方使用

但是雖然美規的齒比較疏 但是美規的第五檔 跟 日規的第六檔
其實齒比差不多

要說的話 美規變速箱 比較適合說是 日規變速箱 拿掉一個檔位之後再重配的感覺

這邊順便請教一下, 您的SST 有沒有加強散熱系統?
市面上似乎有些改裝套件, 是針對改善 (跑賽道等)久了會過熱的問題, 不知道實際上 SST 情況是怎樣.
另外一直有個疑問就是, 假如變速箱空間一樣下, 5MT 的齒輪應是否比 6MT 更寬, 也是否也意為著更耐用?
不過 Evo X 5MT (至少 USDM) 雖然變速箱本身很勇, 不過 clutch 卻是整個傳動系統中的 weak point.
操了一段時間 (比如說 launch 等) 後會開始打滑, 所以也不少人在討論要換那個 clutch 好.
另一個 5MT 的小毛病就是冷車時, 很多人都覺得換檔相當的卡, 但通常在熱了後 or 換變速箱油會改善.
SSP has upgrades for SST, but the upgrades are rather expensive. With transmission cooler the kit can cost up to 3-4000 dollars.

The clutch is not quite the weakest link of my evo x, I think it's the paint.
My clutch does not slip at all and it holds strong at 12000 miles; however I would
recommend fly wheel + clutch upgrades if you have 300+whp.

About the 5MT notchiness.. I have that as well unfortunately. It happens most often
in 2nd and 3rd gear and there is nothing we can do unless you can have your transmission rebuilt by shep.

The biggest problem at the moment are fuel pump relay and center differential pins.
Try to look into the pins, buschur makes them.

關於 fuel pump relay 應該就是把現在黑色的換成綠盒子的那種 對嗎?
那 relay 要去那買? 還是車牽回 dealership 他們就會幫你換一個?
此外 center diff. pins, 請問有沒有更詳細的資訊 or 相關的 link?

fuel pump relay is about 40 dollars, failing fuel pump relays will cause your AFR to be extremely lean and hurt your engine.
the part number is #8627A011 and I switched that out right after I read about the problem.

I don't have any solution to this due to myself knowing nothing about this How-to.
I realized this problem after 2 months I bought the car and somebody in the evo meet had this.
It caused huge leaks in the center differential and there is nothing else he can do except
replacing the whole thing.here

The whole point about this story is the weak center differential pins and transfer case.

I recommend leaving the car as stock as possible if you have no idea how to DIY ( like myself.)
Get a tune by mellon you can get around 270-280whp / torque + depends on 93 or 91 octanes with only a tune. Or purchase a cobb AP which runs about 700 dollars and get you similar results.
Canned tune aren't always bad, at least they don't throw P1320s lol...

Before doing mods get boost + AFR gauges at least. AEM uego should cost no more than 200 dollars installed. you will know what i am talking about once you learn about the numbers..
