現在變速箱越來越精密了，對熱漲冷縮的要求度也越高
也是之前網站上不少人在嘲笑DSG要降溫才換油時
我爬爬網站才看到jaguar傳統自排也是要降溫換油
油溫約是35-45度
資訊是來自車子的技術手冊而非車主手冊
所以我想一般車主應該不見得知道或也不在乎「標準的換油程序」
有人就是用「經驗法則」說我都沒降溫換
十多年車子也好好的
要降溫換油一個重點是添加油量的問題
變速箱油尺會標示兩個溫度所看的位置
一個是冷車約40,一個是熱車約85
溫度沒降下就換油
會有油量添加不足的擔心
當然如果技師都只是整瓶到進去沒在乎油尺
那應該沒差

1. Bring the transmission up to operating temperature by driving the car. Park the car on level ground, turn the engine off, then remove the drain plug.

2. Reinstall the drain plug with a new washer, then refill the transmission to the upper mark on the dipstick.
因此推論可能是日系車與德國車變速箱的設計與構造不同的原故吧。

是45？是85？還是100？
現在手冊上一般是會註明的（至少我看過的歐洲車都有）
以前如果沒有電腦應該就不會寫這麼詳細
因為溫度測量沒那樣容易
你要在85度換也可以
但是有多少技師願意把新加的變速箱油也加溫到85度再看油尺？
如果原來是熱車狀態
冷油加進車裡結果可能溫度就是介於冷車和熱車之間
而可能造成油尺判斷誤差
但我相信以台灣的習慣一定是「隨便啦」
「標準程序是標準程序」
「我修車幾十年這樣換也沒問題」
除了做事態度的差異
這有時候是導致一些設計取向不太一樣的車
卻因此受到影響
很多影響不是短期看得到
ATF Replacement
1. Bring the transmission up to "normal operating temperature" (the radiator fan comes on).
2. Park the vehicle on the level ground, and turn the engine off.
3. Remove the drain plug (A), and drain the automatic transmission fluid (ATF).
4. Reinstall the drain plug with a new sealing washer.
5. Refill the transmission with the recommended fluid into the dipstick hole to bring it to the upper mark on the dipstick.
6. Insert the dipstick back into the transmission.
這樣夠清楚了吧，要在工作溫度時更換
不過我好像也有聽過熱車時更換，加入新油時齒輪會什麼熱漲冷縮摩擦咬死之類的
台灣技師總是有一些自己嚇自己的怪習俗...
