auto market is not small in Taiwan at all. a lot of European countries has smaller population than Taiwan.
remember that all those cars, including CRV, has all airbags in ORIGINAL DESIGN. In Taiwan, they need to change the design (to take out airbag)
why cars in taiwan, even the cheapest one has HID? because people want it.
why a lot of inexpensive cars has DVD and Navi? because people want it.
if consumers send a message to the manufacturers they don't want HID, they don't want DVD, they don't want leather seat, they don't want Navi. Instead, they want 4 airbags, they want ABS, they want TCS. I am sure menufactures will respond to consumer's demand.
