1. in terms of dB meter measurement, actually I2 (2010) takes advantage over P3. Guess I2.5 (2012+) can be better with the refinement of noise-isolation materials. 2. back seat space in cabin of P3 is larger than I2 (or I2.5, even I2.5 improved it by adjusting back seat height), which is of no doubt , esp for head room. However, the ratio of height vs. width looks so odd in exterior if looking at P3 from the back ( i.e. tall/chunky, not stylish , my personal perspectives). 3 in views of powertrain (maybe not so important to hybrid vehicle), 0-60 and 1/4 mile data of P2 is comparable to I2. for top speed, I2's is limited by governor and P2's is limited by drag. However weight/per hp is 28(I2) vs. 24(P3) respectively, which is not good for I2, by far.
to respond the fuel economy result with 1000KM mileage, author said he strolled across downtown of Tainan and Taichung for a few days during CNY holidays. But referring to the average speed he ran, 45KPH , actually the number is not slow and might be not in crowded traffic condition as expected during holidays.
