I had taken video for all 2 delivery prodecure of my babies in the operation room (our hospital allowed camcoder recording in the operation even non-hopsital staff). They were all delivered by CS.
Since DV recording is not allowed there, you must be sure to take all historical pictures..... belows are my favorite:
1. the very moment of babys head approaching the air
2. the number shown in the weighting scale (neonates will lose their weight for about 10% after given birth, so the initial weight should be recorded at the delivery room)
3. the moment they cut the umbilical cord
4. after all protection done, the nurses will hold the baby to the mother, shoot that!! Most mothers tear by their first look to the babies. (no matter how ugly they are ....
)
Flashlight is not suggested in the hospital, so a DC like Fujifilm F11 that take acceptabble image in low light is better.
