Certainly, a digital rangefinder camera with Contax G-mount would be an interesting camera. Because of the very short back focal distance of the G-mount lenses (the lenses extend very far into the camera body) the image quality with common image sensors available on the market would not be sufficient (e.g. dark and unsharp edges would result). So I do not think that there will be a chance for a digital G-mount camera body within the next future.
