Yes, totally agree with you. If you try to carry this amount of camaras into Canadian Customs, they will keep you there ask you questions for at least 2 hours and then ask you to show the "original receipt" for each and every camara items.
Watch out when you go to Vancouver YVR airport, if they "feel" you are folling them then you will be in deep sh*t.

Hahaha, you dont need to agree with the above two members, they are simply trying to tell you the "difference" between Taiwanese Custom and Canadian Custom. However, I do want to see if anyone dare to try carry that amount of old camaras and lenses into Canadian Custom.
Hammer is there in Canadian Custom Office and they do use it. My replica rolex bought in Shanghai was hammered to pieces on front of me in the YVR airport.
In Canada is you can not show or prove how much exactly you paid for the items you are trying to carry into Canada then by law the custom officer has every right to charge you tax according to their "book". You have only 2 options: 1. pay the god da*n tax (very high). 2. give up the items and they will destroy the items in front of your eye.
For those who have lived in Canada must know what I am talking about.
I live in Taiwan now and I have to say Taiwanese Custom is way way better than Canadian custom. In Taiwan, we pass through checks faster and Taiwanese custom officers do smile when they talk to us. I like Taiwanese Custom Officers more than anywhere in the world.

Hahaha, Bryan. From your context i am sure you must have lived in Canada for a while. +1 for you.
I am happy with Taiwanese Custom Officers and they are polite and fast to response. Most important of all, they dont treat people like as if everyone is trying to evade tax.
