I also take many sport photography and need to crop a lot because of the long distance. Thus, I am exciting the coming of high MP camera but with better high ISO performance!
Do you have the same comparison pictures but in ISO 1600 or 3200?
If possible do you have any Olympus pictures in 12 mp with weaker AA filter to replace D700 for comparison?

PS. We are doing many night sport photography and need to use ISO 3200 or 6400 quite often at F2.8 with some cropping. D700 still the best choice so far but is looking for a better combination.
