I just bought the GR limited edition for under 19k
I like to have a Pocket Camera to complement my Leica M240
Here are my take:
1. Marble Green is interesting color but the paint on it is not of too high quality - so so but it is unique.
2. The so-called wood grain grip is slippery, unlike the regular version which has a rubber feel to it.
3. I don't like the regular one because it is all BLACK.. If you like BLACK go for it. I don't
Now on the accessories part of the limited edition
1. Case - lousy color and fitting case - you can throw it away.
2. Straps - lousy straps - even at minimum length, it is still too long, I am not sure if it is a neck strap or a waist strap!
3. Lens extention plus Shade - well, the lens extension tube is nice if you want to add wide angle or tele attachement later, but that shade is horrible looking and absolutely ugly.. I actually put a Voigtlander 28mm silver optical finder ontop of my marble green GR, looks cute but in order for me to hold the camera to my eye, I add the lens extension tube minus the shade. That is how I am using it.
Conclusion
1. If you hate black, buy the limited edition.
2. Forget about all these bundled stuff, none of them works out to be good quality
3. Again, if you dont want other people to share the same GR, choose this Marble Green - it is kind of classic and nice looking. I recommend anyone who wants to buy this limited edition only if you like that color not the accessories.
GR is a nice camera, I like it very much. I shoot color on my Leica and I keep Black and White on my GR!!
限量版外觀不像黑色一樣是霧面那樣有質感。不過配色很特別。初次入GR系列朋友，我反而推買限定版。
如果原本就是gr系列玩家的人，乖乖買黑的吧。
