43rumors got a tip from Japan that Panasonic may skip the LX4 model and go directly for Lumix LX5 in the third quarter of 2010. In their latest post they even mention the end of 2009 for a potential release. This could mean that we may see a Leica D-Lux 5 in 2010 (Photokina?). Some of the suggested improvements are: OLED screen, auto lens cover, minor lens improvements. If LX5 will be four thirds remains to be seen.
