Not decided yet. Depends how fast we can make the Pens perform like the SLR's

Today we don't have them, thus we present the E-5 which should satisfy many users

It's true that perhaps the specs aren't up to what many expected, but I am afraid, you can't have everything.

We are working before anyone and more than anyone on technologies of the future, and we have come out with the E-5 for those who have lots of Zuiko lenses.
John Mason - 3 days ago Might be an E7, depends how soon m4/3rds can address pro shooting. But interview did not address the lower end of their mirrored camera line. No more new 4/3rds lenses does not say they are going to stop making 4/3rds lenses that have already been designed. Yet makes perfectly clear Olympus's future is committed to the m4/3rds direction.
He correctly notes that Nikon and Canon which have 80 percent of dSLR market are not yet in a mirrorless market. Looks like Olympus sees a truck sized opportunity to drive through and are going to take it for all it's worth. Who could blame them?
