空氣感在攝影上也許不是那麼引人注目，不過攝影技術的前輩「繪畫」，對於研究空氣感倒是有悠久的歷史。最早的老祖宗，應該就是達文西吧！這種繪畫技法叫做「空氣遠近法」（Sfumato），和西洋繪畫中常用的幾何遠近法齊名，空氣遠近法，大意是運用朦朧、渲染的筆法，使主體邊緣柔和地與背景融合，以呈現遠近感，而非呈現生硬、強烈的線條輪廓（像漫畫人物那樣）。達文西非常愛用Sfumato這個技法，最有名的例子，大概就是蒙娜麗莎的微笑吧！

Sfumato is a term used by Italians to refer to a painting technique which overlays translucent layers of colour to create perceptions of depth, volume and form. In particular, it refers to the blending of colours or tones so subtly that there is no perceptible transition.
In Italian sfumato means "vanished" with connotations of "smoky" and is derived from the Italian word fumo meaning 'smoke'. Leonardo da Vinci described sfumato as "without lines or borders, in the manner of smoke or beyond the focus plane".
樓主的問題是如何「拍出空氣的感覺」，首先要確認的一點就是樓主心中的「空氣感」，是否就是繪畫中的「空氣遠近法」所表現出來的畫面？
個人並不認為Canon比其他廠牌更容易拍出空氣感。要拍出所謂的空氣感，重點也許和鏡頭到主體與背景的相對距離（即景深）、光學配方（formula）、球面像差、現場光源，甚至空氣中的浮塵量等等有關。
相對地，在閱讀日本攝影雜誌時常可見到評論者使用「」（發音為nukeh）這個詞彙，大意是指影像的「通透感、清澈感」，意思和空氣感似乎也有很密切的關係？這也是繼散景（bokeh）後又一個頗為抽象的說法，不過這對於描述影像是有點幫助的。
