小弟用A16跟18-70做了一點測試:
以下圖都是從中央附近做100%裁切 (不選中央是因為兩隻都非常銳利沒什麼好比的)

望遠端 [f/2.8]
A16- 50mm

望遠端 [f/4.5]
A16@50mm vs 18-70@50mm

可以明顯的看到A16在光圈全開時明顯比較鬆散. 不過在stop down到f/4.5時他就比18-70銳利一點.

廣角端 [f/3.5]
A16@17mm vs 18-70@18mm

廣角端 [f/4.5]
A16@17mm vs 18-70@18mm

以上都可以明顯看到 A16其實是有比較銳利的(特別是屋頂瓦片), 不過如果不放大到100%刻意去比較的話幾乎不會察覺. 兩支鏡頭中央都是非常的銳利所以18-70也真是一顆好kit鏡!!

我沒用過18-200, 不過A16的對焦速度很快不會輸給有SWM的18-70. 對焦有一點吵可是吵也吵不過35mm

to answer your question i got it at Lens & Shutter in West Van for 499 +tax, but i think i bought the last one

they also have another store on Broadway.. you can phone and ask them if they have any in stock.
their number and address is on the website: www.lensandshutter.com

i dont think any other stores in van sell tamron lens...
