M8 is my first Leica. I only use bessa with M lens before this crazy decision.
I love the way of taking pics in RF. I just step into this amazing world 1 year. However,I used to have d70 and D200 for a long time.
The period with DSLR before RF is always fluk in taking amazing shots... PS: DSLR now days is faster a lot than your framimg concept.
Only 10% of my pics is fine ,,,,the rest are just shit.
After using RF system, i start to thinks about the point of the imag yu wanna bring. So ... i start to take B+W films. This is a new step of mine photos... Totally different concept with DSLR that i enjoy everytime i bring my Bessa with M lens on the street.
But the problem is .....i wanna take colors sometimes, too. Taking color film is great , but i like to process by my own..
When i saw the M8 coming out ... i know this is what i want...
ooooooo Is it worthy or not to buy a m8???????? Big question which only yourself can answer..........
M8 gives yu the same feeling with traditional RF... You will think and wait for the best stuff in your brain.. This is why i sell all my DSLR baby after RF..
My percent of taking good shot grows up to 20% ...
M8 has every problems that yu can count easily, CCD dust,slow focus ,weird purple black , low saturarion color...
But....If yu can adjust it right by PS, it's kind of effect that yu will compare with the slide,not just negative.
Especially for Digital B+w, M8 is awesome in details and layer.
If yu love snap shot and B+w, M8 will be a nice (which was crazy) choice
Lots of the time i miss my Nikon DSLR because of fast and precise focus.
But i won't feel regret that i bought this Baby---M8.
