1. 感光元件使用 X-Trans CMOS II , 以及處理器 EXR Processor II , fuji宣稱自動對焦可縮短為0.06秒, 號稱世界最快速度.
2. 世界上首創的lens mudulation optimizer(曾出現在X100s, X20上), 在JPG檔出圖時修正鏡頭缺陷.
3. 後螢幕提升為3吋固定式, 104萬畫素.
4. 錄影提升為60fps(1920x1080)
5. 機身小幅修改. (下圖左側是X-E2, 右側是X-E1)
6. 上方增加Wifi鍵, EV增加為+/- 3EV
7. 其餘部分改進清單(fuji宣稱總計有60多項)
