各位攝影前輩大家好...小弟剛加入單眼的世界不久...
目前是canon 450D+sigma 17-70 os這個鏡頭...
最近想要買一顆定焦鏡...
在爬文了一段時間後...歸納出了Sigma這二顆定焦鏡...
如果在不考慮是否為室內拍攝的情況之下...
各位攝影前輩可否給小弟一點建議...
哪顆鏡頭會比較適合拍人像呢...謝謝...
小弟我雖然是550D,但是還是很想選50mm這一顆....
就算知道在室內不好用,但心裡還是偏向50mm....

30MM
優點: 1.焦段室內外方便
2.畫質優
缺點: 1.容易移焦
2.外皮容易掉落
50MM
優點:
1. F1.4 可用 (但我都收到F1.8拍比較多)
2.拍出來的效果直逼原廠L(但不可能比他好一分錢一分貨)
缺點:
1.室內不方便
2.少少的移焦 (室內開F1.4 10張有2-3張小小移焦)
3.逆光 入光嚴重(但用手遮可以改善)
二顆我都有但室內室外都用sigma 50mm f1.4 比較多(APS-C)
如果室內不能拍都會打開窗戶從外面拍進來...
距離不夠就只能 用30MM 拍囉...

Excellent choice of lens for your camara. I think you made a great investment on Sigma 17-70mm OS.
As for your question on whether to purchase Sigma 30f1.4 or Sigma 50f1.4; well, both of them are great lenses and believe or not you can use them both in and outdoors. I will leave the options open to yourself and not make decision for you.
However, I can clearify some facts for you with experience of my own. I have both lenses (sigma 30f1.4 and Sigma 50f1.4) and I use them both in and outdoors primarily shooting portrait shots.
Myth: With APSC body, 50mm is way too narrow and extremely hard to use indoors.
My response: yeah right! give me a break, with 30mm on APSC will capture not only your subject but also lots of unnecessary items into your picture. I found 50mm is great for APSC bodies since you can capture the subject you want and also get rid of things you don't want. Think about it, there are tones of stuffs in the room, 30mm is simply too wide to exclude things you don't want. ie underware hanging on the chair. hahaha
From my personal experience, 50mm is not only great for APSC indoors but also even 85mm is great for APSC indoors. I got this wonderful little toy which is EF 85mm F1.8 for taking head shots indoors and boy I love how 85mm performs s it gives me great head shots with excellent amount of details of the faces. Sometimes, I wonder if they actually have experience of using 50mm or above indoors from those people who claims 50mm or above is no good for APSC bodies indoors.
Think about it, what do you take picture for indoors? It would be either people or a subject no bigger than 2m in diameter. So, it natually brings a big doubt for those people who claims 30mm is the better option for indoors. Think about it, you take a picture of your child with 30mm on your APSC body in the livingroom, you process it out and later you find face of your baby is only 15% of your 4X6 photo. The 85% of the 4X6 is what? Well, you won't read a lot of details with only 15% of the 4X6 is your baby's face. However, you do get 85% of the 4X6 full of rubbish. Now, say your subject is not human flesh but a hand crafted artifact. Again, 30mm is no good for that kind of pictues as well for the same reason above.
Of course, people might argue you could get closer to the subject of your picture with 30mm but think about it, how closer do you want? If you want the face to fill 50% of your 4X6 photo, you have to get rediculousely close to your model and you find yourself in a stupid position of not being able to fully utilize your multi thousand dollars flash system.
Anyway, just want you to know, those people who claims 50mm is no good for APSC bodies indoors are not telling you the whole truth and in fact many of them do not even know what they are talking about. What really matters is the suject you intend to take pictures of indoors.
Just to give you an idea of how 85mm on my 550D works. I can easily take a picture of 2 with half body and clear faces in front of me just 2.5 to 3 meters away. The result if you might ask? Excellent for sure. hahaha
