就那一句「在連續對焦模式中按快門和對焦獨立進行」那句看不懂

是不是說持續對焦但單張拍攝的意思呢？

這個設定是特別獨立出來的。在1D Mk III之前，要用Cn-4去設定。350D上一樣也可以用，也就是原本的半按快門對焦取消，改由這個鍵代替。
好處有
1.追焦時+連拍，持續對焦，成功率大大提升
2.較不易手振
3.AF，盲拍/偷拍時好用，即使在未對焦情況下，此時快門仍可以按下
